hey there everyone :) I just wanted to give an update on some recent events. The other day I recieved an email saying that the photogenX track had been moved to january instead of september. I will still be going down in april for my DTS but then instead of going straight into the around the world track i'll come home for a little. at first I was like WHATTTT??!! WHY? THIS IS SO DUMB! MY WHOLE LIFE IS RUINED AND PUSHED BACK NOW! and may have over-reacted... just a little ;) but I was just really excited to go into it for the full 2 years and just leave home and do it and what not and now finding out that I will have three months in between to come home was kinda a shocker. it just goes to show that you never can truly plan anything :) God is in control and he can throw in some curve balls where he sees fit haha. After talking to some girls who are currently on the track, they said that we are lucky they are giving us this break.it will give us a time to process our DTS as well as earn some extra money before coming back and going into the track prepared and ready. Thinking about it more made me even more excited because i know God's hand is in this and he must want us to be in a certain place at a certain time and that may not have happened if the track left in september instead of january..it's excited when you really trust and know that God has everything under control and time in meaningless if you follow him and trust in him. I was feeling like adding an additional 3 months in between would just push my life back a alittle but you know what? who cares haha God has me and will put me where he wants me and at what time he wants me there :) and thats ok if things change :)
So with all that said, I will still be going down to Kona Hawaii april 8-sept 23 for my DTS and Outreach and then will be coming home for 3 months and going back down and starting the around the world track in january 2011.
butt then again you just never know with God..things could change yet again :)
on another note.. i have been feeling SO BLESSED! lately as i see the response to my support letters. Everyday since i sent them out i have recieved one or two or somtimes 3 letters in the mail :D the amounts enclosed in these letters are SO GENEROUS! i feel so blessed!! i have no doubt that God will provide at the support i need to do this. Thank you all so much for your part!!! it truly is amazing and humbling.. God is so Good :)
